Role Overview:
We are seeking an Excavator Operator to join our team on a when needed basis for various rail projects. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in operating excavators within rail and must be fully compliant with rail industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators efficiently and safely in rail environments.
- Execute excavation tasks in accordance with project specifications and safety guidelines.
- Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Excavator Operator.
- Proven experience working within the rail environment.
- Currently registered on the Aquipa system.
- Compliance with the Rail Industry Worker (RIW) system.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
