Vestas are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Site Manager to join our collaborative team in Goulburn.The department is a small team environment based on site at Taralga Wind Farm. As Site Manager of Rye Park, Tarala and Crookwell 3 Wind Farms in Goulburn, you will report to the Regional Service Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the above stated wind farms while still being hands in the Contractual obligations for these Wind Farms and collaborate with Support functions to get your KPI assisted towards a successful profession.
Responsibilities - You will support and manage a small team to ensure they meet the requirement of the site; training, compliance, performance
- Safety is extremely important to us at Vestas
- You will ensure all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements for the site are maintained and complied with Stakeholder Management is a key to this role as you will need to update on performance to internal and external parties
- Operationally you will coordinate performance management, daily management board (LEAN) meetings, weekly toolbox, budgets and contractor management
- Lead the Supervisors deployed to the Wind Farms
Qualifications - Proven leadership skills and experience in supervising teams. Experience in long- and short-term planning of works on a busy site
- You will have exposure to asset maintenance operations, be someone who delivers by example
- Understanding or experience of High Voltage Sub Station maintenance
- Lead the Supervisors deployed to the Wind Farms
Competencies - You will be Computer literate and have experience (in SAP and Microsoft suite of software)
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to liaise with stakeholders on all levels
