Palmers Glass, located in Gladesville NSW, is a highly respected, family owned, company that has been servicing Sydney for over thirty-five years. Palmers have enjoyed continued growth and is now among the top Glass companies in Sydney. Palmers control all aspects of manufacture in-house with our own toughening plant, auto-cutter, water-jet cutter and a variety of polishing, beveling and general processing machines.
We are looking for an experienced carpenter with glazing skills for this full-time role, with an immediate start. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, showing initiative and excellent glazing skills.
Applicants should be experienced, highly motivated, dependable, punctual and personable with an eye for detail. The individual will be committed to delivering excellent workmanship and superior customer service while working & leading in a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Measuring and fitting new glass
- Installing frameless glass screens, balustrades, and architectural glass products
- Sealing glass and making everything watertight
- Using apparatus with suction cups to lift glass into place
- Working with plastic or laminates, and treatments that make glass safer or stronger.
- Assessing risks for installations

The successful candidate will need to be physically fit and healthy, able to lift over 20 kgs safely.
An excellent base salary and overtime will be available for the right candidate.
Applicants should have/hold:
- Approved trade qualifications or the ability to demonstrate technical competency
- Right to live and work in Australia
- Own tools (preferable)
- An unrestricted NSW Driver License
- Able to drive a manual vehicle
- Hold a current NSW Construction Induction card (White Card)
