Astern Group are a civil construction and engineering company in Melbourne. We work in various civil infrastructure project across the region.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join our team.
About the role
Reporting to the Super Intendant, you will be responsible for duties including:
- Coordination of activities and forecasting your scope of works to ensure a timely and efficiently delivered project
- Completion of tenders for our various clients
- Cost Tracking of all onsite activities and reporting to management on regular intervals
- Preparation of quality control documents such as ITP's and SWMS to ensure project works meet our client's specifications and OH&S requirements
- Management of procurement of plant, materials and subcontractors
- Submitting Monthly Claim for works completed.
About You
Applicants should demonstrate the following:
- Engineering Degree
- 1 to 3 years' post graduate experience
- Proven success as a graduate engineer on local projects
- Demonstrate experience in autonomously managing key tasks when looking after multiple projects
- A desire to listen, learn and develop
- The ability to communicate across all levels of the business
- Have a practical, hands-on approach
- Strong safety focus
