Responsibilities ABOUT THE ROLE Weatherford Perth, Australia is urgently seeking a fulltime permanent
Project Manager - Tubular Running Services to start immediately. This role is responsible for planning, managing and successfully delivering optimized solutions to customers in the Oil and Gas industry. As the Project Manager of TRS, you are to manage expectations, gather appropriate requirements, generate accurate estimates, and deliver effective communication regarding project details with internal and external teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES - Consults with management and reviews project proposals.
- Establish a professional, successful relationship with the client.
- Accurately estimate new projects given defined scope of work.
- Develops Prepares and presents the statement of work, project plans based on site surveys and requirements gathering.
- Formulates and defines technical scope and objectives.
- Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
- Coordinate project resources and workload in a matrix organizational structure.
- Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
- Prepares/reviews status reports, schedules and plans as required.
- Provide Functional and Technical advice and resolve problems.
- Coordinates and responds to requests for changes.
- Develops and maintains technical and project documentation.
- Develops Field Acceptance test plans and conducts tests.
- Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS - Min of 5 years direct experience as a Project Manager in Tubular Running Services (TRS) is highly preferred or min of 5 years of direct experience in Tubular Running Services (TRS) Operations / Field is essential.
- Strong knowledge in Weatherford Tubular Running Services (TRS) equipment's, tools and how Weatherford operates as an Oilfield Service company.
- Strong experience in Client Management.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suites
- Experience in all phases of software deployment including scope definition, requirements definition, Installation, structured project methodology and ongoing customer support.
- Ability to read, analyses, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
