Job Title: Civil Foreman
Location: Various Sites in Auckland

The Role:As a
Civil Foreman you will oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations on civil construction sites, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will lead and manage a team of skilled workers, liaising with project managers and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage day-to-day site operations, including setting out work areas, managing crews, and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies at all times.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to review project plans, schedules, and resources.
- Oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, including progress updates, safety audits, and any variations.
- Manage the allocation of materials and machinery, ensuring optimum use.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to your team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Skills & Experience Required:- Proven experience in a Civil Foreman or similar role within the civil construction industry.
- Solid understanding of civil construction processes, including roading, earthworks, drainage, and utilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of New Zealand Health & Safety regulations and practices.
- Experience with managing resources, scheduling, and liaising with clients and subcontractors.
- Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., civil engineering, construction, or trade-related certifications).
- A full, clean New Zealand driver’s license.
