Role: Quality Control (QC) Inspector - OneSubsea

Job Description: The Position holder is responsible for providing inspection and verification services to the TLM/Operations function to ensure that product and services fulfil and comply with requirements "right first time", prior to release to the next process and or customer. This position may require overtime often at short notice.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Ensure materials, products, equipment and tools comply to specification as established in QPs and ITPs
- Prepare, maintain and review quality records/documents within Work packs for final documentation review
- Review and verify accuracy and completeness of Vendor documentation which accompanies incoming goods. Trouble shoot & follow up with vendors as required
- Review and check testing and routing documentation records such as: test charts, FAT and SIT
- Perform receiving, in process, RGR, final and pre-shipment inspection on parts, tools and equipment per the applicable documents, scope and procedure
- Use appropriate and calibrated measuring equipment to perform inspections based on the specified inspection requirements
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of equipment or parts: new, repaired, modified or re-engineered conform to specified OSS and Customer Quality requirements
- Perform visual welding inspection on parts, equipment, lifting and lifted equipment per OSS, Customer and Industry requirements
- Perform NDE on welded parts, equipment, lifting and lifted equipment per OSS, Customer and Industry requirements
- Record all inspection results in accordance with reporting requirements
- Raise NCR's within SAP / Optimus systems to document, record, and monitor internal and external product defects plus process vendor concessions
- Raise Customer Concessions as and when required
- Perform Condition Reports on equipment returned to the facility for work
- Familiarization and interpretation of OSS Material Codes and strong understanding of BOM's
- Maintain 6S on all inspection areas
- Perform all duties assigned by Management
- Comply with documented QMS and Inspection procedures
- Comply with company policies and procedure
- Execute transaction in SAP for material clearance process
- Follow HSE policies and standards and objectives
Qualifications and Experience: - Reside locally in Perth (no relocation support)
- Have the full right to live and work in Australia, including offshore
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Industry experience and minimum 2 years of Quality Control
- Experience with industry standard (ISO 9001, API Q1/Q2, ISO 17025, API 6A, 6D, DNV)
- Dimensional inspection and measurement techniques
- Read and understand technical drawing, standards and procedures
- Good English written & verbal communication
- Good computer skills
- Quality Inspection including visual and dimensional inspection
- Experience and understanding of using calibrated inspection equipment
