Reporting to the Superintendent Community Relations St Ives, you will be responsible for supporting the asset level Community Relations activities and coordinating key community engagements and activities in line with the Social Performance strategy for St Ives.

About the role:
-
Assist to develop and maintain key host community stakeholder and strategic partner relationships for the asset
-
Build and maintain strong relationships of trust with members of the community, key individuals, and other organisations to assist in achieving the organisation's social performance goals.

Assist delivery of Stakeholder Value Creation initiatives, through the implementation of the Gold Field’s Social Investment strategy at asset level, including:

Coordinate and maintain administration of Community Investment applications and outcomes
-
Coordinating Gold Fields’ participation in key community engagement activities and opportunities
-
Supporting Gold Fields strategic partnership activities as required
-
Coordinating asset and/or business representation at key community events and forums
-
Assist delivery of Gold Fields’ Host Community employment and procurement strategies for the asset
-
Support delivery of outcomes pertaining to Gold Fields’ Reconciliation Action Plan at asset level
-
Support administration of relevant agreements, including requirements relating to native title, heritage and strategic social partnership agreements

Provide support to cultural heritage management activities and processes as required

Provide support to reporting requirements for Community Relations team as required

Provide administrative and logistical support to Community Relations Australia function as required to ensure efficient delivery of External Relations function and Gold Fields’ strategies and objectives
About you:

A proven track record of extensive practical experience in a similar role with a focus on stakeholder engagement and community relations

Significant experience working in a collaborative, multi-agency context to deliver outcomes
-
Well developed strategic communications experience and skills
-
Experience with First Nations participation, programs and engagement
-
Experience in achieving local participation in the mining industry
-
Valid C Class Drivers Licence
