Role: Equipment Readiness Operator
Location: Perth WA
Type of contract: Permanent
Roster: Full Time
Job Description: This role is responsible to manage equipment preparation, inspection, dispatch, return receipt and maintenance. The Equipment Readiness Operator coordinates equipment-related tasks and maintains the asset register.
In this position, you will be working for Cameron. Cameron is part of the SLB product family and is a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems, and services to worldwide oil, gas, and process industries.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Ability to utilise processes and systems to ensure tooling and equipment is tested and commissioned against requirements, is integrated into operational networks, fit for intended purpose, and meets performance requirements.
- Perform Maintenance on company equipment such as Flange facers, hydraulic and pneumatic pumps, torque/tensioning equipment
- Prepare and schedule equipment for mobilisation
- Manage equipment call out orders and returns to ensure equipment is complete and in compliance.
- Arrange third-party inspections
- Complete internal and external equipment documentation packs
- Maintain asset register
- Prepare and manage critical spares and consumable to maintain company equipment
- Communicate job request status to Supervisor and Manager
- Understand and actively practice safety risk management, safety compliance and auditing, and ensure legislative, pre-contract and commercial obligations are met.
- Assist Warehousing Team if required
Qualifications and Experience: - Reside in Perth and have the full Australian working rights
- Valve equipment experience highly desirable
- Experience working in maintenance role including exposure to maintenance processes and warehouse workflows
- Mechanical & Technical aptitude
- High Risk License for dogging and forklift license is desirable
- Ability to use MS Office, Asset registers and SAP applications
- Proven asset management skills and experience with asset management applications
- Experience in quality control processes is desirable
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a high level of organisation
