Work an attractive fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) roster from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville or a drive-in/drive-out (DIDO) roster and take advantage of our top-class camp, or live local in the close-knit community of Cloncurry and be home every night.
This roster is 8/6 (days) - 7/7 (nights) and a 12-hour day.

About the role
The Auto Electrician is a key member of the mobile maintenance team. Working on a diverse array of mobile mining equipment, you will be tasked with performing planned and reactive maintenance tasks safely and effectively. Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Performing routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing on equipment including Sandvik loaders, development and production drills, and Atlas Copco compressors, generators, and pumps.
- Actively engaging in fieldwork and troubleshooting electrical issues
- Maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, statutory, regulatory, and licensing standards
- Proactively identifying potential risks throughout Evolution
- Reading and interpreting auto electrical schematics
- Using OEM diagnostics tooling for efficient fault-finding on electrical systems and machinery
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and availability
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in mining or heavy industry. You will possess a trade qualification in Auto Electrical and a valid Australian manual driver's license. Proficiency in using software programs and OEM diagnostics tooling is essential. The ability to make decisions, work to deadlines, communicate effectively, and strive to be part of a high-performing team is also crucial.
