Carpenter/Formwork Carpenter

P & M Structures Pty Ltd specialises in commercial and residential construction.

We are currently looking for highly skilled Carpenters and Formwork Carpenters to work on a full-time basis in Melbourne/Canberra

The successful applicant must have the following skills:

Cut, shape and smooth timber and other material e.g. fiberglass and steel according to measurements to create structure or form
Secure form with nails, bolts, screws or anchor rods
Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items Lay out floorings, roofing’s or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible
Poor and smooth concrete
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
Build scaffolding and other construction structures

To be considered for this position the successful applicant will need to have the following qualifications or skills:

 AQF Certificate III in the relevant field or a minimum of 3+years’ experience in the field (essential)
 Applicant must hold valid tickets.
 Valid Driving License and transport desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
