Interiorco VIC Pty Ltd trading as Zenith Interior, located in Sandringham, VIC, is looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our professional team. We require a candidate who is diligent, detail-oriented, and has a minimum of 2 years of experience within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures.
Ordering and selecting appropriate timbers and materials, and preparing accurate layouts.
Cutting materials, assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts.
Erecting framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards, and verifying the trueness of structures.
Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, fitting exterior wall cladding, door, and window frames.
Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready for installation.
Cutting wood joints.
Constructing concrete formwork, if needed.
Conducting repairs of existing fittings, as necessary.
Working with plastic laminates, perspex, and metals, if required.

Key Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in the carpentry or related industry.
Proficiency in studying drawings and specifications.
At least certificate III or IV in relevant field.
Demonstrated ability in material selection and layout preparation.
Strong skillset in erecting framework, roof framing, and installing sub-flooring and floorboards.
Demonstrated competence in assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings.
Proficiency in constructing concrete formwork.
Familiarity with repairing existing fittings.
Experience in working with plastic laminates, perspex, and metals is an asset.

Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 plus superannuation per annum
