Position: Carpenter

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 38 – 40 hours per week
Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

Use carpentry tools and equipment efficiently, handling materials with expertise.
Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Inspect products and materials to ensure compliance with established standards.
Contribute to on-the-job training for team members.
Perform tasks with minimal supervision, both independently and within a team.
Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Erect and dismantle formwork for footings, slabs, stairs, and ramps.
Conduct minor demolition of building structures.
Install flooring systems, wall and ceiling frames, and roof trusses.
Construct pitched roofs, eaves, and advanced roof structures.
Install and replace windows and doors, and refurbish timber sashes.
Utilize explosive power tools safely and effectively.

Requirements:

Completed Certificate III in Carpentry.
Own transport to and from work.
Minimum 3 years of experience in carpentry (preferred).
White Card (preferred).
Work Safely at Heights certification (preferred).
Driver Licence (preferred).
Eligibility to work in Australia.
