Job Description: We are seeking an Entry-level Concrete Labourer as well as a Skilled Concreter to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing various tasks involving physical labor and concrete related tasks. This includes site preparation, form working, steel fixing, pouring and finishing concrete and maintaining tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of sites, including removing debris and setting up forms.
Construct and dismantle formwork including tying in reinforcements (rebar) according to project specifications.
Pouring and spreading concrete using hand tools and equipment.
Using a range of techniques to Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete
Monitor the curing process to ensure concrete sets properly.
Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist other team members with various tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and develop skills in concrete work.
Basic understanding of construction principles and practices.
Ability to perform strenuous tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
ACT General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Completion of Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness training or willingness to complete prior to commencement.
Reliable transport.

Highly Desirable:

Previous experience as a concrete labourer or in a similar role.
Knowledge of form working, steel fixing, waffle pod slabs, pouring, and finishing techniques.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans
