Corestaff Townsville is seeking multiple Parks & Open Space Labourers to join our clients team - Immediate start .
PARKS & OPEN SPACE LABOURERS
As a Parks and open space Labourer you are responsible for the cleaning, mowing and maintenance of parks, gardens, drains, bus stops and playgrounds. There will include operation of minor plant and will include walking up to 5km daily in the heat. You will ideally hold previous experience working outdoors within a similar role and be physically fit.
Duties Will Include
- Driving to / from job sites
- Shovelling
- Raking
- Carrying Loads
- Mowing and brush cutting
- Trimming / pruning
- Hedging
- Edging
- Tidying parks and open spaces
- Tip runs & load securing
- Mulching
- Herbicide work
- Cleaning the rockpool
- Garden / tree planting
- Litter control and graffiti removal
- Staking trees
- Maintaining and replacing sand in sandpits
To be successful for this role, you will need to have:
- Chemical Handlers Ticket highly regarded
- Horticulture Experience Preferred
- C Class Drivers Licence
- White Card
