Due to a sustained growth in residential construction industry, we are offering an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Sunshine office as Operations Manager. Reporting to our Managing Directors, you will be responsible for leading and managing our residential design and construction team across all areas of our operations.
The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields.
Location: Sunshine, VIC, Australia
Salary: $100K - $150K
Type: Full time/Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Driving and managing long term sustainable growth for the business
- Under direction of the board management, overseeing and reporting on the progress of our residential projects
- Leading and mentoring the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Ensuring delivery of a high level of customer service
- Developing and improving our operational management systems and processes
- Consulting closely with our design and drafting managers, to direct and manage the performance of the operations team
As a successful candidate you will have:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualification in a construction management related field will be well regarded
- Proven experience in operations management and customer service, preferably within the residential constructions sector
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage and grow business relationships
- Revit knowledge is highly encouraged but not essential
