About the role
- Collaborate the Mining Manager to execute the daily work plan and promptly communicate any changes to the crew.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Superintendent to address maintenance, damage and breakdown issues.
- Assist Engineers in planning of pit progression and developing weekly plans.
- Manage Supervisors to ensure adherence to operational plans and standards.
- Provide strategic advice to minimise non-productive time by addressing unscheduled service, fleet selection and optimising haul profiles.
About you
- Proven track record in a similar role within surface mining operations.
- Hands-on experience operating equipment in a mining environment.
- Possession of OCE qualifications is a definite plus!
- Valid HV driver’s licence.
- Hold a Senior first aid certificate.
