You'll be working closely with our engineering teams and project managers to deliver high-quality results for our clients. Key Responsibilities
Develop Electrical Drawings: Create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and diagrams based on project requirements.
Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet technical specifications and project timelines.
Maintain Design Standards: Adhere to industry standards and company guidelines to produce consistent and accurate documentation.
Quality Assurance: Perform thorough checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Document Control: Manage and maintain drawing records and revisions to ensure all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and clarification to site personnel and other stakeholders as needed.
Cultural Contribution

Key Results Areas / Essential Functions
Design and Drafting:
- Produce accurate and detailed electrical drawings in AutoCAD.
- Address technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure all designs are compliant with relevant codes and standards.
- Monitor and manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Conduct regular design reviews and updates.
Engineering Collaboration:
- Understand and interpret technical specifications.
- Liaise between engineering and drafting teams to ensure clear communication.
- Keep project managers informed about design progress and any changes in scope or specifications.
- Capture and document any variations or changes to project requirements.
Quality Assurance:
- Enhance quality assurance systems and processes within the drafting department.
- Conduct quality checks on all drawings and mentor team members to maintain high standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance drafting quality and efficiency.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or relevant certification in Electrical Drafting or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or related CAD software.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical drafting.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and substation environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
