Working in our Operations team, you'll be helping with the maintenance and presentation of one of our unique open spaces in Melbourne's South East. The Role: Join us in this full time, ongoing position as our Senior Monument Inspector where you will oversee monument installations and work closely with our contractors to ensure compliance across all SMCT sites. Based at our beautiful Springvale Botanical Cemetery, you will be responsible for maintaining strong, collaborative relationships and ensuring SMCT's standards and values are upheld. Key Responsibilities: Issue permits, inspect installations, and regulate monument repairs to meet legislative standards and SMCT's vision. Check monument foundations for compliance and oversee quality across grave sites. Collaborate with Stonemasons to plan and execute works effectively. Monitor memorial installations and report discrepancies promptly. Maintain data on CRM, coordinate removal of unauthorised memorials, and liaise with families. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed. Manage reporting requirements and ensure records are accurately maintained. Adhere to HSW procedures, promote SMCT policies, and support sustainability efforts. About You: We're looking for someone with: Excellent initiative and self-management skills. Strong administrative experience, capable of managing multiple jobs across various sites. Ability to thrive under pressure in a complex environment. Highly developed relationship management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Unrestricted Australian Driver's License. What's on offer?
