Our recently constructed Lucky Bay Mine Site has a 30 year + mine life and is located within a thirty-minute drive from Kalbarri township.
This is a
RESIDENTIAL role.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote, monitor and review performance of the company's environmental management system
- Execute site targets to facilitate continuous improvement in environmental performance
- Manage processes, procedures and policies to deal with environmental requirements
- Assisting, preparing and submitting of approval applications
- Conducting audits and inspection of operational areas, compliance with license requirements
- Lead and deliver environmental awareness, site induction training programs for all personnel
- Assisting with investigations relating to environmental incidents
- Consulting and liaising with regulatory authorities
Qualifications And Requirements
- 5 years mining experience in resource sector environmental management systems, implementation and compliance (desirable)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science (desirable) or related field
- Experience in NGERs or other environmental reporting (desirable)
- Sound knowledge of ISO14001 (desirable)
- Previous experience in the mining and/or construction industries
- Lead or Internal Auditor qualifications (desirable)
- Previous experience in a corporate HSEQ team would be advantageous
