About the Role
As a Mine Controller you will be based within our Integrated Operations Centre Autonomous Haulage (AH) Front Runner (FR) Mine Control team taking ownership for achieving production targets, by enabling the effective operation of our Front Runner Autonomous fleet management system.
Reporting to the AH Control Supervisor, you will safely execute the daily operations plan while optimising the utilisation of the truck fleet. You will ensure compliance to scheduling and operating philosophies, motivating a culture that not only conforms to company safety standards, but also seeks to continuously improve operating efficiency and realise cost benefits.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Understand site Safety Systems and their link to health and safety
- Manage the fleet effectively and efficiently
- Maximise compliance to operational plan
- Promote positive relationships through effective communication and consultation
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Identify system and operational process improvements in the use of the fleet management system
About You
We are seeking people who are excited about being part of a large technology transformation and who have the following:
- Previous Mine Control experience required as either a Mine Controller or Dispatch Operator
- Prior experience with Modular Dispatch™ or Frontrunner™ systems will be highly regarded
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Collaborative, coaching and influencing skills
- A high level of computer literacy and excellent verbal communication skills
IROC control room is based out of 125 St Goerges Terrace in the Perth CBD, this gives employees the flexibility to use a variety of transportation options. From public transport, Self-drive to bicycle where there is secure lock up facilities available on site.
You will work on our Lifestyle Roster, working a pattern of days and nights, with a block of days off at the end of each swing. Employees on this roster enjoy two full weekends off out of four, and complete 12.5 hour shifts including handover.
