Our client, Khokhar Constructions Pty Ltd, is looking for a skilled carpenter.

Salary: $73000- $83000
Key duties:
1. Understanding construction blueprints, sketches, and project plans to determine dimensions and materials needed for construction tasks.
2. Using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to measure, cut, and shape wood, drywall, plastic, fiberglass, and other construction materials.
3. Building, assembling, and installing frameworks, partitions, rafters, staircases, door frames, windows, and other structures in residential and commercial buildings.
4. Installing flooring, doors, windows, exterior wall claddings, sheathing roofs and other essential fittings in line with project specifications.
6. Conducting repairs, restoration, and maintenance on existing structures such as doors, frameworks, and damaged building components.
7. Following safety guidelines and building regulations during the construction process, using protective equipment and ensuring the proper functioning of tools.
8. Coordinating with electricians, plumbers, bricklayers, tilers, and other tradesmen to ensure seamless integration of all construction elements.
9. Assisting in estimating the amount of materials, time, and labour needed for construction projects.
10. Preparing construction sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and temporary structures, and cleaning up debris and waste at the end of each task.
Eligibility criteria:
Must have a certificate III qualification in Carpentry.
1-2 years of experience working as a Carpenter.
Able to work safely at heights
Team player and good communication skills.
Proficiency in using carpentry tools and machines, such as saws, drills, hammers, chisels, and levels.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring quality workmanship.
