The Role
The HSEQ Manager is responsible for providing specialised HSEQ advisory, systems management and reporting services to Convergint Technology Centre (CTC) colleagues across the Oceania region.
What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”
- Leading HSEQ investigative processes
- Coordination of activities to ensure Convergint’s management systems retain currency and validity to legislative and commercial certification requirements
- Maintenance of registers including inspection, training, corrective action, and change management
- Provision of technical support and training to CTC safety champions and project teams
- Collation of scheduled HSEQ data and drafting of monthly reports
- Leading regular safety meetings
- Coordination of regional audit activities, scheduling, completion, and recording of outcomes
- Recording of incidents and events, triaging, and escalating key issues in accordance with procedural requirements
- Coordination and recording of business continuity activities
- Provision of HSEQ support and guidance on the use of the Safety & Compliance SharePoint site
- Coordination of injury management and return to work activities
- Provision of support to the Director’s, Safety & Compliance and Human Resources in delivery of new processes, forms and tools
- Communication of changes to Convergint’s management systems and drafting safety alerts
To be successful in the role you will need to have:
- Minimum of five years of previous experience in HSEQ systems and operations.
- Knowledge and experience in Internal Audit
- Experience in one or more of the following industries is preferred: electronic security, construction, and ICT fields. High risk industry experience will be valued.
- Demonstrated understanding of HSEQ management systems.
- Good knowledge of MS software applications, Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, Power BI, MS Teams
- Minimum, Certificate IV in WHS Management
- Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Certificate IV TAE (desirable)
