In this role, you'll:

Work in the Regional Maintenance Team South and West within Customer Environment at Sydney Trains with a focus on delivering maintenance activities for stations, maintenance depots and multi-storey carparks.

This role will see you based at Dapto and covering the south and West areas, which will see you based at Dapto with jobs covering the Wollongong line, Helensburgh to Nowra as well as from Menangle to Albury.

You will be allocated work for each day at the Dapto depot and have a job list for the day / week to complete tasks in the field based on priority for the relevant locations. This will see you also monitor the work completed by contractors to ensure that it is delivered efficiently and to agreed timelines and costs requirements.

About you

Your ability to work under minimal supervision with demonstrated experience in a building maintenance or construction environment providing handyman repairs will accompany your Trade qualifications in a relevant trade such as Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting or as a Bricklayer.

You’re recognised as having good interpersonal and written communication skills as well as possessing a valid current driver licence.

This is a Wages Grade MAINTR, Permanent Full-Time role based at the Dapto Deport and is predominantly field based covering the designated areas described earlier in this Ad. The role will be Monday to Friday covering an 8-hour day with 1 rostered day off per month. The weekly wage for this position is $1,580.55 plus superannuation.
