We currently have an exciting and rare opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team based out of our Gunnedah branch primarily supporting Mining and Maintenance Projects across the region. In this role you will be part of and based out of our Gunnedah Workshop, however majority of your role will see you working between multiple sites supervising major works, shutdowns and ensuring the safety of your team of tradesmen.
Reporting to the Service Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating major shut down projects through effective planning, resourcing and communication with key stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of work scopes, costing, scheduling, project planning and execution to completion
- Ensuring all reporting needs and administrative functions required by the company and the customer are completed promptly and regularly
- Supervise the accuracy and timeliness of time sheets and sub-contract documentation to enable prompt job costing
- Identification of continuous improvements within your area of responsibility
To be successful you will need:
- Prior experience in a supervisory, project management or technical role with Mining Equipment in the mining industry or with a related OEM
- Appropriate Trade / Post Trade Qualifications and related Product Training
- Intermediate PC Skills, ability to analyse technical data and reports
- Good communication skills
- Have a safety focus and abide by site safety processes
- Relevant Trade Certificate - Mobile Plant Mechanic (HD Diesel Fitter - Earthmoving/Heavy Transport) coupled with extensive experience and knowledge in repairing, servicing and maintaining mobile plant equipment
- Strong ability to adapting yourself to different teams, rosters, environments and workloads
- Ensure that you provide 100% Customer satisfaction with both internal and external stakeholders, branches & suppliers within the HCA family.
