Role Overview
Matimo is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage our residential building/commercial sites. If you have a strong eye for detail and a passion for leading construction teams, we want you to help ensure our projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on residential construction sites.
- Lead, coordinate, and motivate a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize productivity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, Construction Supervisors, and other stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs, safety reports, and project documentation.
- Identify and address any challenges that arise during the construction process, providing practical solutions to keep the project on track.
- Assist in managing the project budget, monitoring expenses, and reporting any variances to the Construction Supervisor.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, site workers, and material deliveries.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and building standards.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays on site.
- Report on worksite performance, timelines, and budget to the Construction Supervisor.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to design plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Proven experience in a Construction Supervisor role, preferably within the construction, real estate and related sectors.
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Proficient in project management tools and construction site management. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to connect our product capabilities to customers' business needs.
