We are seeking a Planning Engineer to join our project: Culcairn Solar Farm. The Culcairn Solar Farm is a 440 MWp renewable electricity project in the South East Riverina Region of New South Wales, approximately 45km north of Albury and 70km south of Wagga Wagga.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a planning engineer, you will play a strategic role in monitoring the project timeline:
1/ Strategic Project Planning: supports the Senior Planner/Planning Manager in preparing the baseline program, in house target programs and various action plans.
2/Project controls:
- Monitor & maintain project control procedures. Monitor and track project progress. Develop progress trackers with continuous monitoring.
- Create and track production dashboard, productivity rate.
- Track various key productivity ratios and be able to maintain a database for benchmarking purpose.
- Ability to write professional, clear, and concise reports
3/ Reporting: Create insightful reports that provide valuable insights for the project and the stakeholders:
- Ability to collect site data, perform analysis and prepare the analysis in a presentable manner.
- Raise red flags for the activities which are falling behind schedule or likely to fall behind.
- Meticulous record keeping and data management abilities.
4/Coordination: Ability to communicate the programs to the project team including workforce level. Schedule and attend meetings as required and keep records.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in engineering, project management.
- Previous professional experience in construction or oil and gas is a plus.

- Proactive data management skill with excellent Oral & Written communication skills.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow.

- Working knowledge in Primavera P6.
- Working knowledge in Power BI
- Working knowledge in MS Project
