Job Title: Vice President Commercial – LNG Terminals

Who are we recruiting for?
Our client is a prominent player within the LNG industry, driving energy innovation and sustainable infrastructure. As they expand their commercial operations in Adelaide, we are seeking an experienced Vice President of Commercial to oversee LNG terminal development and operations leading partnerships and contract negotiations with major stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
- Spearheading all commercial contracts for the LNG terminal, ensuring operational efficiency and client satisfaction
- Leading the negotiation and closing of complex contracts related to LNG and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction)
- Developing and managing LNG offtake agreements, creating win-win scenarios with partners
- Coordinating with local regulatory bodies to secure and maintain essential permits for LNG terminal operations
- Acting as a strategic advisor to the executive team, contributing to long-term commercial strategy and growth
- Cultivate Strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
- Engage with government agencies and regulatory bodies, representing the company’s interests while navigating regulatory challenges.
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Qualified with an MBA in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- A leader with a proven track record of senior leadership in business development/commercial roles in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on LNG terminals, FSRUs or LNG EPC projects.
- Experienced in developing and executing successful commercial strategies within the LNG sector.
- Strong in business acumen, negotiation skills, and financial expertise.
- Understanding of FSRUs, LNG terminal design, construction, and operations.
- Knowledge of Australian LNG market and contacts
