We are seeking an experienced Program Delivery Manager to lead the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of carbon farming projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely project reporting, quality control, and the successful submission of projects to the Clean Energy Regulator. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a portfolio of projects, identifying interdependencies and leveraging resources to maximise efficiencies and achieve required company outcomes
- Develop and implement strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of projects, including risk and contingency management, to identify and address issues and assess project progress and overall effectiveness
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships through the provision of expert advice, effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the project and project deliverables are met
- Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other project priorities
- Establish systems to track project performance against KPIs
- Prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and challenges
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and project management certifications (e.g., PMI).
Required Skills/Experience
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating multiple projects at the same time, which may all be at different stages of the reporting cycle
- Very high attention to detail and experience in quality assurance/quality control processes
- Ability to work with teams to develop creative solutions to complex problems
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and influence diverse stakeholders to deliver outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills to convey complex issues simply
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
