All Round Operator
Macmahon is a leading Australian company delivering an end-to-end service offering to clients throughout Australia and Southeast Asia. Delivering a comprehensive range of surface mining, underground mining, and engineering services to the resources sector.
Due to current and upcoming growth, we are currently seeking All Round Operators to work at our KCGM Site (Northern Star) in WA. KCGM is located in Kalgoorlie, doing FIFO from Perth to site on a 2/1 roster alternating day and night shifts (7D|7N|7O). You will be reporting to the Superintendent for Macmahon on site and work in a 400 man camp alongside the client of Northern Star. Camp is 10 - 15 mins from site, buses provided from camp to site. Fly in days are Thursday and shifts start from 5.30am working 12.5 hours days inclusive of lunch break.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in the mining industry operating from the following:
- Trucks: Caterpillar 785/789/793’s
- Watercarts: Caterpillar 777 & Komatsu 785
- Loader: Caterpillar 992/993
- Dozers: Caterpillar D10/D11
- Graders: Caterpillar 16M
- Experience on Excavators from PC 1250 +
- Physically fit for the demands of the role (Gold background will be highly desirable)
- Proven ability to operate in a safe and efficient manner
- Passing medical, drug and alcohol screening along with a current National Police Clearance
- Current C Class Driver's Licence (minimum)
