An exciting full time opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Draftsperson

This would suit a skilled and accurate draftsperson looking to join a friendly team on a permanent basis.
Essential Criteria
- Experience working in a residential home construction environment
- Proficient user of ArchiCad and MS office suite
- Working knowledge and understanding of relevant construction practises, including current building codes and regulations.
- Able to produce precise and accurate drawing in a timely manner
- Self motivated and able to work independently, in line with the wider team
- Able to prioritise tasks and manage time well to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to liaise with other team members and external stakeholders
- A problem solver with a can-do attitude and a positive outlook
Your Responsibilities May Include
- Preparing and producing accurate drawings across various stages of the home build including preliminary drawings and working drawings
- Working closely with the wider team across all stages of the home build.
- Ensure drawings are compliant with relevant building codes and local government (shire) building criteria to ensure relevant permits are obtained.
- Complete amendments to drawings arising from variations or design requirements,
- Liaise with other stakeholders across the building process including surveyors, engineers, client liaison officers and the admin team to ensure a smooth build process, meeting and exceeding lead time expectations.
- Mentor junior members of your team.
