I am looking for X2 Senior Estimators one that has a Civil ⛏️& Infrastructure background and a Senior Estimator that has a Construction 🏗️ background
Interviewing ASAP for immediate starts - relocation assistance available for Interstate candidates.
What your day-to-day might look like:
- Budget Estimates -using relevant market rates from recent projects where applicable and obtaining subcontract input as required
- Reviewing and analysing subcontractor quotes.
- Reviewing and pricing preliminaries and supervision & labour
- Provide mentoring and support to junior staff
- Undertaking site visits with subcontractors and assessing access, buildability and temporary services locations
- Completing estimate review documentation and preparing information for presentation and review by management
ABOUT YOU
- Degree qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 8 years post-graduate experience in an estimating role within a tier 1-2 working across the new build environment
- Successful record in winning tenders to the project value of $20-$150 million
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
- A deep understanding of construction processes and pricing trends.
- Experience in working with junior staff and building teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to present bids to prospective clients
