Our client offers engineering support to Australia's largest public health service. We are looking for an experienced Draftsperson to join their team to produce and maintain architectural drawings including lighting, power and fire services.
About The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Producing and maintaining "as built" architectural, lighting, power, hydraulic and mechanical fire services drawings for projects undertaken by the BEMS including on-site measurements and coordination.
- Participating in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of a controlled document procedure and database for the Metro North Health Building, Maintenance and Engineering Services
- Managing the storage of REVIT models
- Producing ad hoc drawings of alterations, renovations, etc as directed by the BEMS Managers.
- Developing AutoCAD drawings from PDF's
- Liaising with the facilities Fire Safety Advisor to assist in producing floor plans showing fire escape routes for each level of each building within the complex to meet accreditation and fire safety requirements
- Carry out any other tasks as required by management
Skills And Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role with experience in public areas (desirable)
- Experienced with AutoCAD and RedEye
- Current Criminal History Check (within 3 months)
- Proof of Vaccination Status or willingness to obtain
- Confident and well-presented
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Excellent time management
