Our client is a leading manufacturer in products that are designed to acoustically enhance the spaces that their customers use daily by utilising raw materials such as wool, cotton and other fibres.
They are looking to expand their existing team and require switched on energetic Machine Operators to join their Ingleburn team. This role will involve manual handling, operating machinery, and general warehouse work.
This role is Monday to Friday - 6am-2pm (Day), 2pm-10pm (Afternoon), and 10pm-6am (Night) shifts availabe
Key Responsibilities:
You will be working in a versatile role utilising raw materials to help load into a machine that creates different sizes and thickness fabric sheets. You will also be required to use the computers and adjust the machines for the different orders. Other tasks may include:
- Quality checking of products
- Computer Entry
- Marking of paperwork
- Machine Operation
- General Labouring
- Cleaning duties where required
Essential criteria:
- Strong work ethic
- Physically fit - can comfortably lift 20kgs
- Machine Operation experience ideal
- Sound understanding and knowledge of computers
- Great attention to detail
- Great communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to follow written procedures
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
