Programmed Skilled Workforce is a leading provider of managed workforce and training service. Our client is current seeking Maintenance Fitters for their large facilities based in the Bayside Area of Melbourne.
This position involves working within the food manufacturing industry across both facilities on a 7x day fortnight (12x hour shifts)
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
- Service, repair, and maintain various equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
- Have the ability to prioritize work tasks
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Hold a mechanical aptitude
Your Qualifications:
- Trade Certificate
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing facility.
- Strong safety culture.
- Production maintenance experience.
- Systems knowledge.
- Desire to learn.
