The Opportunities UGL is ramping up for an exciting 2025 and as a result are on the lookout for experienced Design Engineers and Draftspersons to work on large multi-million-dollar projects across the rail and renewables sectors. Our multi-disciplined Design division are part of a wider national cohort of engineers and are embedded in exciting projects that make a real difference to life in Western Australia! Requirements to be successful: Design Engineers (Electrical, Communications) - Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. - History of involvement in rail and/or multi-discipline projects (desirable). - Extensive knowledge in systems for Electrical Engineering including LV & HV electrical systems, switchboards and equipment selection, earthing and bonding, and protection systems. - Knowledge of communications systems including fibre optics, RF communications and other various communications systems. - At least 3 years’ experience in the design and implementation of LV and HV Electrical systems. Draftspersons (Electrical, Civil) - Experience with AutoCAD/AutoCAD electrical and/or MicroStation in Rail or Construction projects. - Exposure to other software including 12D, Navisworks, BIM software. - Experience with 2D (essential). - 3D Modelling (desirable). - Familiarity with application of AS1100 drafting standards and other common Australian Standards. Senior Draftspersons (Electrical, Civil) - As above, however, leadership experience is required.
