About The Company
This Australian owned business is growing rapidly with a huge pipeline of work! Due to this rapid growth they want to expand their tight knit team and bring on a
CAD Drafter to work on their benchtops and kitchens. The team have vast industry knowledge and are industry leaders! The successful candidate must have experience as a CAD drafter, ideally
working with benchtops or joinery.
This is a great opportunity for a full-time experienced Drafter to join an established team of down to earth good blokes. You will be reporting directly to the Factory Manager who is very hands on and comes with well over a decade of experience himself. You will be working with a great team who understand that open communication, running on time and their reliability sets them apart from their competition.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Developing product designs from scratch.
- Presenting rough design drafts for client approval.
- Ensuring product designs meet required safety and structural standards.
- Generating Solid and Surface CAD models using AutoCAD software.
- Creating and modifying technical drawings using CAD software.
- Translating rough sketches, specifications, and calculations into detailed technical drawings.
Skills & Experience
- You must have a background as a CAD drafter with at least 2 years experience.
- Software experience is essential as well as experience working with kitchens, benchtops or joinery.
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously
- Able to take direction well and learn quickly on the job

Benefits
