What you can expect:- $38 - $42per hour, with overtime paid after 40 hours.
- Weekend work is available for those seeking additional hours, and a standby allowancefor call-outs, with a minimum of three hours overtime paid.

- You’ll be working on diverse and engaging projects, including fabrication, mechanical installations, maintenance, breakdowns, and shutdowns – both in the workshop and on-site.
- Projects predominantly involve mild/carbon steel and stainless steel, giving you exposure to a range of materials and techniques.
What you’ll need:- To be trade qualified with an NZQA Level 4 in Heavy Fabrication(or equivalent) and have at least 4+ years’ experience in fabrication and welding post-apprenticeship.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC weldingis essential, along with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and accurately measure up on-site, providing detailed site drawings.

- Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety are vital, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Welding and Fabrication: Carrying out MIG, TIG, and ARC welding to ensure precise fabrication of components.
- Project Execution: Interpreting technical drawings, measuring on-site, and providing accurate site drawings. You’ll assemble and fabricate products to exact specifications.
- Quality and Safety: Conducting thorough quality checks on all finished products and maintaining a safe work environment in line with health and safety regulations.
- Collaboration and Improvement: Working closely with your team to meet project deadlines while sharing knowledge and skills to help each other grow.
