Our Global Supply Chain team plays a central part in ensuring our products are delivered to patients with cardiovascular disease and critical care needs. You’ll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or any of our other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients all over the world.
How you will make an impact:
• Work with freight forwarders to meet EW overseas shipment requirements such as inbound & outbound scheduling, communicate to track shipments & clear customs timely, (de)expediting shipments, follow up when loss & damage occur and invoice validation
• Prepare reports and analyze, forecast and plan related cost scenarios to provide monthly forecast, AOP, Strategy Plan and ad-hoc requirements
• Identify and resolve, collaborate with team members to assess logistics needs and perform actions to ensure cost effectiveness, quality, delivery and service level are met
• Be the main GPS&L contact and execute with 3PL for clinical trial matters fulfill routine orders to the satisfaction of the customers, and arrange for prompt deliveries
• Understand global & local trade compliance requirements to comply with global & local customs requirements and to ultimately work with freight forwarders/their customs brokers

What you'll need (Required):
• Bachelor's Degree, 1 Year previous related experience Required or
• Bachelor's Degree, Business or related field Preferred
• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), (Australia local trade compliance certificate if applicable) Preferred

• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Global Supply Chain, and Quality systems (e.g., JDE) preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
• Ability to develop compliance processes and procedures
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Good knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain and ISO laws and regulations applicable to medical device industry

• Work is performed independently on sections of projects and/or lines of work and reviewed for accuracy and soundness
