We are seeking a detail-oriented, compliance-focused professional to join our dynamic team within a growing organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a solutions-driven mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities within the role will be to offer support for the onboarding on new employees into the business ensuring that that all compliance is completed to allow access to all sites. You will also oversee the management of HSEQ processes and drive continuous improvements to maintain the highest standards in both onboarding and compliance procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Organising various orientation and induction sessions for new employees.
- Ensuing all employees credentials and compliance is up to date.
- Acting as a primary point of contact for new starters.
- Ensuring new starters Identification documents are received and properly stored.
- Planning and scheduling various training sessions for employees.
- Preparing onboarding packs to welcome new employees and ensuring relevant information is included.
- Ensuring that new employee details are provided to payroll for entering into the company software, including payroll software, and keeping the details up to date.
- Assisting new recruits with any questions or queries and ensuring they have all information required to join the company.
- Coordinating with the relocation and redeployment of employees.
- Arranging relevant access to hardware and software required by the new recruits.
- You will review and update plans, risk assessments, safe work method statements, procedures and other critical safety documentation.
- Lead inspections, incident investigations and provide thorough and high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
What you need
- Previous experience in a similar role or HR related role (minimum of 2 years)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High levels of organisation and compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and managed changing priorities with strong time management.
- Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously.
- Ability to be a strong team plater.
- Experience working with the Microsoft Suit.
- Strong phone etiquette.
- Experience and knowledge of WHS legislation and regulations.
- Be able to implement safe work practices and risk management into the workplace.
- Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety. (Desired)
- Experience with Order 43 Coal Board Medicals. (Desirable)
- Experience or knowledge of Pegasus, Damstra and WHS. (Desirable)
