About the Role:
You’ll be working on a variety of
residential carpentry tasks, from renovations to
new home constructions, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Our client is seeking a highly skilled individual with a
New Zealand Trade Certificate in Carpentry and/or
Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) certification, as this role requires a proven ability to deliver in both small and large-scale residential settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete carpentry work on new builds and residential renovations to a high standard
- Ensure full compliance with NZ building codes and safety protocols
- Work autonomously or within a team to meet project timelines
- Problem-solve effectively on-site and maintain client satisfaction
- Collaborate with other trades and team members on new construction projects
What You’ll Bring:- Certified Carpentry Skills: Must hold a Level 4 Certificate in Carpentry or Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) status (both are strongly preferred).
- Residential Carpentry Experience: A solid track record of working on new builds and renovations within the residential sector is essential.
- Reliable Tools & Transport: You’ll need your own carpentry tools and dependable transport.
- References: We’ll need two references from previous carpentry positions to verify your experience and skill.
- Teamwork & Communication: You’ll thrive in a team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Health & Safety Focus: A commitment to being drug and alcohol-free, with strict adherence to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:- Proven experience in residential carpentry, particularly on new builds
