Your new role
We are seeking a
Project Administrator, who will provide high-level administrative and operational support to project teams across the DTS portfolio. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth development, coordination, and implementation of project deliverables.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Establish and Maintain Administrative Functions: Set up and coordinate project administrative/support functions to ensure efficient project operations.
- Support Project Meetings: Organise project meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing action lists.
- Guide Project Staff: Provide guidance on the utilisation of project management tools and assist in the completion of necessary documentation.
- Coordinate Reporting: Prepare regular and ad hoc project reports, including status updates and budget forecasts.
- Facilitate Communication: Act as a liaison between recruitment companies and DTS, ensuring adherence to recruitment policies and facilitating information flow among stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with:
- Completion of a diploma qualification with considerable relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management frameworks/methodologies, particularly Agile, Waterfall, or PRINCE2
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to work well in a team, respecting differences and supporting group goals
- Advanced digital literacy skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools and systems
- Demonstrated understanding of project financial reporting
- Ability to construct clear and concise correspondence and documentation
- Certification in a project management methodology (desirable)
Work Requirements:
- Must have current work rights in Australia matching the tenure of the role.
- Based in Perth, WA or have confirmed plans to relocate. Relocation and sponsorship support are not available.
