About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our dedicated team at Mansour Paving Rockdale, NSW 2216 Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, partitions, arches, and other structures by laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other types of building blocks in mortar. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and within the set timelines.

Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum
Role: Full-time
Key responsibilities include:
- Laying bricks, concrete blocks, and pre-cut stones in mortar to construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.
- Reading and interpreting architectural plans and blueprints to determine the layout and required materials.
- Mixing mortar to the appropriate consistency for each project.
- Cutting and shaping materials as needed to fit specific spaces and designs.
- Ensuring the alignment, leveling, and spacing of bricks and blocks are precise.
- Inspecting work to ensure it meets quality standards and making any necessary adjustments.
- Repairing and maintaining existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or blocks and repointing mortar joints.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and best practices on the job site.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- At least Cert III in Bricklaying.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Bricklayer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural plans.
- Proficiency in mixing and applying mortar.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools to cut and shape materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.

- Technical skills in bricklaying and construction techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on the job.
