About The Role
Due to continuing strong growth, we have a great opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Adelaide team.
As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for
- Prepare documentation and presentation material for pre-qualifications, tender of projects.
- Sending out inquiries for prices of materials and subcontractors.
- Receiving quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, tabulating their prices and checking to see if they have covered all aspects of the enquiry with regard to quantities, quality, timelines and that they have priced every item. Make recommendations on which supplier/subcontractor should be used.
- Carrying out take offs of quantities.
- Preparing sketches, programmes, method statements and minor temporary designs for inclusions in the tender.
- Seeking information from Service Authorities and Councils on where their assets may interfere with construction of that being tendered.
- Obtaining information / submissions such as HSEQ plans for inclusion in the tender etc.
- Collating the tender / pre-qualification document prior to submission.
About You
To be successful in this role you will:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Construction Management, Building Economics etc).
- Member of Australian Institute of Building (AIB).
- Self-sufficient, requiring limited supervision with focus on results.
- Competent in use of MS Office.
- Have a strong commitment to ‘Home Without Harm.’
- Be passionate about organisational values of safety & care, honesty & integrity, customer focus, teamwork and performance excellence.
- Be a permanent resident of Australia.
- Undertake any nominated items on the role and responsibilities matrix issued by the Project Manager.
- Maintain and manage the defect process on Aconexfield.
- Receiving quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and reporting thereon for preparation of variations.
