Top end joinery is a family business which has been servicing the Northern Territory for over 40 years, we are Darwin's leading cabinetry and stone shop which cater for private, residential, new builds, builders, high rise, government and defence. our stone division create bespoke bench tops with all the leading brand materials, we also make head stones, letter sand blasting, make step treads and other plaques.
Stonemason - 2 Positions Available
Qualifications & experience
- a minimum of 4 years of experience in the kitchen and bathroom bench top industry
- white card, forklift ticket, current driver's license,
Tasks & responsibilities
- be able to interpret plans
- be able to onsite measure and make cutting lists.
- be able to maximise cutting lists with materials on hand or order in of needed materials.
- be able to use workshop machinery to cut and polish bench tops ready for installation, this is by using bridge saw, mitre saw, line polisher or wet hand polishers, use wet hand grinders to cut outs sink and hot plates etc
- perform under mount sinks, perform waterfall legs, perform lamination edge thickening.
- be able to keep the work shop neat, clean and organized to a health and safety standards. be able to comply with all work health and safety requirements.
- be able to use of forklift and truck to load and deliver to site, onsite installation of fabricated bench tops and finish the job with a clean and tidy satisfactory hand over for the end user.
Cabinet Maker/Joiner/Carpenter/Installer– 5 Positions Available
Qualifications & experience
- Certificate III in Cabinet Making OR cabinet/ joiner with a minimum of 4 year's experience.
- have a white card.
- current drivers license
Tasks & responsibilities
- interpret plans and drawings.
- assemble of cabinets and bespoke joinery items
- identify and be able to use different hardware products.
- onsite installation, from start to finish to a satisfactory hand over for the client.
- take pride in your work and work area, be able to work with a team or independently.
- be able to also work in the factory and be able to use machinery and hand and power tools

Additional Requirements for Cabinet Maker and Stonemason:
