Chandler Macleod is seeking a Plant Operator to support the team at Baiada, Tamworth.

Immediate start | Full time hours – 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Tamworth location | Free onsite parking
Perform equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance

About the role
In your new role of Plant Operator, you will conduct the following:

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Forklift operation.
Monitor production processes and adjust equipment as needed to maintain efficiency.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including personal protective equipment requirements.
Follow company protocols for handling and disposing of waste materials.

About you
As a Plant Operator within a large organisation, you will bring:

A Forklift license and experience in forklift operation is essential.
Proven experience performing plant maintenance in a manufacturing or processing environment, preferably in the poultry or food industry.
Basic computer skills are essential, and knowledge of SCADA systems is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot plant equipment issues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
