Fine Cut Floors is now looking for an experienced Carpenter to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
- Installing various types of flooring such as wood, carpet, vinyl, and tile.
- Preparing the subfloor by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayments.
- Repairing damaged floors and performing regular maintenance tasks.
- Re-oiling wooden floors to maintain their appearance and durability.
- Sanding and polishing floors to achieve a smooth finish.
- Creating custom flooring designs to meet client specifications.
- Ensuring all work adheres to safety and building regulations.
- Choosing appropriate flooring materials based on client needs and site conditions.
- Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations;
- Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations;
- Advising clients on flooring options, care, and maintenance;
- Working with other team members, including project managers and designers, to complete projects efficiently;
About you:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Carpenter;
- Strong precision in measurements and installation processes;
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during installation or repair;
- Proficiency in handling flooring materials and tools;
- Providing professional and courteous service to clients;
