General duties for the day-to-day business operations, with the key objective to maximise the productivity and profitability of the business without compromising plant conditions or workplace safety.
The primary responsibilities of the Machine Operator position include:
- Preparing machinery for operation;
- Operating various machinery, including various tractors, header, front end loader, augers, four wheel motorbike
- Operating various attachments to the machinery, including super spreader, seeding machinery, chaser bin
- Operating various machinery to sow, fertilise and harvest crops including tractor & super spreader, tractor and seeding machinery, tractor and chaser bin
- Adjust speed, height and depth of the machinery, and other implements as instructed by Manager;
- Care and maintenance of the machinery to ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with Managers requirements;
- Occupational Health and Safety compliance, ensuring that all work activities are carried out in accordance with the businesses policies and procedures; and
- Maintain all required business records as required.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant qualification at the level of a Certificate II or higher, OR at least three (3) years of relevant work experience as a Machinery Operator;
Must have a current WA C Class Drivers Licence.

OTHER
- Work vehicle provided, and all travel expenses covered
- Some weekend work will be required, and discussed with candidate so plenty of notice given
- Accommodation in nearby towns at the expense of candidate

Pay: $73,150.00 – $75,000.00 per year
