About The OPPORTUNITY
We have a great opportunity for a
Field Service Representative to join our Red Ochre Autonomy and Sensors (ROAS) program, based in
Adelaide or Melbourne.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight.
The Field Service Representative (FSR) will act as the key point of contact for issue identification and support service tasks associated with the M113AS4 vehicle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivery of expert technical advice to stakeholders on matters relating to the operation, maintenance and support considerations for the M113AS4 vehicle.
- Responding to requests for support service tasks
- Organising and collating components for spares orders
- Working within a team of FSR's & engineers to complete maintenance, modifications, mechanical installations & integration of new equipment
- Support FSR related aspects and deliverables of the Land Platforms Engineering Services Contract
- Support project team in development of project schedule with respect to FSR related activities and deliverables
About YOU
- Technical qualification in either heavy vehicle mechanic - road transport, or fitter (armourer) discipline
- M113AS4 vehicle maintenance course
- Australian Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment or working towards
- ADF driver and commander qualifications would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience as a maintainer role in a defence environment
- Demonstrated experience working on mechanical systems in a defence environment
- Experience providing Technical advice, guidance and leadership within a maintenance or engineering organisation
- Experience conducting and supporting technical investigation Experience conducting and supporting technical investigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
