RB Dessert Seed Company is a unique seed production and horticulture enterprise, farming in the beautiful Ord River Valley. It is a progressive and dynamic agribusiness.
The position includes all aspects of grain and mixed crop farming:
- Operate 200hp tractor including the GPS system to carry out land preparation,planting, fertilising, tillage and cultivation
- Set up and calibrate planting and fertilising equipment
- Operate seed cleaning equipment
- Conduct all aspects of furrow irrigation including starting, stopping and changing syphons
- Rouging seed crops
- Assisting with grain harvest including loading and unloading dryers, filling bags and silos
- Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
- Basic maintenance of farm implements such as changing tyres and tynes
- Other general farm duties as required
Desirable Selection Criteria:
- Previous experience in in a similar role
- Strong organisational and communication skills and ability to work independently
- Must hold current drivers license
- Must hold current forklift license
Ordinary Hours:
Monday - Friday
6AM - 3:20PM
May be required to work on weekends

$65000 - $75000
